
Dr. Tilman Stasch
Dr. Tilman Stasch has over 15 years of international experience as a licenced Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand, and Aesthetic Surgeon. He earned his medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Cape Town Medical School, where his MD thesis received the highest honours (summa cum laude). He earned his medical degree from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS Ed.) and went on to study plastic surgery in Germany (Facharzt).
He also has advanced training in medical laser treatments and hand surgery. Dr. Stasch is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive Surgeons (EBOPRAS) and is frequently invited to speak as a faculty member at national and international meetings about his aesthetic clinical work and stem cell research, most recently as a keynote speaker at International Congresses in Miami, Berlin, Singapore, Oslo, and Nairobi (all in 2017).
Dr. Stasch currently practises as a Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive, Hand, and Aesthetic Surgeon in Nairobi, Kenya, with a focus on skin malignancies, face and skin rejuvenation, body contouring (tummy tuck and Kenyan butt lift), and breast surgery.
When his family relocated to Namibia in 1993, he completed his official education in Windhoek before enrolling at UCT in South Africa to pursue his medical studies. He began working in Kenya in 2013 to provide advice and treatment in the areas of plastic and aesthetic surgery, as well as skin cancer screening (Mole Mapping). As an external examiner for the University of Nairobi, he is actively involved in the support of the Plastic Surgery Masters Program by the Kenyan Society of Plastic Surgeons (KSPRAS), of which he is a member.
