DR MUHITDIN ESKI
I was born in 1967, in Trabzon. After secondary school education in Istanbul, I started my medical school education in Gulhane Medical School in Ankara and graduated in 1991. Following my mandatory service in Sarıkamıs I completed my residency training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Gulhane Military Medical Academy(GMMA) which is one of the oldest and well known Programme in Turkey between 1994-1999. Following my residency I worked in Ankara Mevki Hospital as a consultant Plastic Surgeon.
In 2000, I was appraised by Mediterranean Burn Council and worked in Paris Cochin Hospital. In 2001, I won a scholarship and was accepted as a fellow in the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the New York University. I had the chance to work with Joseph G. McCarthy, Charles H. Thorne, Glen W.Jelks, Nolan Karp, Court B.Cutting, Barry Zide, Sherrell J.Aston, Daniel Baker, Alan Matarrasso, Gerald Pitman, Nicholas Tabbal who are well-known all over the world. It was a great experience and training for me. During this period I work on craniofacial surgery , aesthetic facial surgery and body contouring with these surgeon. In 2003, I was certified as a corresponding member of American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS).
I come back to Turkey and I continued my career as an Assistant Professor in in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the GMMA. In 2008, I became an Professor of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. Now I worked as a faculty in the same department and private practice in my office in the address of Muhsin Yazicioglu Caddesi Yonca Apt. No:33/4 Cankaya, Ankara, Turkey. I have over 50 scientific published articles. I have attended to several national and international congresses as a panelist or a lecturer(ASPS/PSEF, ASAPS). I am married, father of a daughter and a son.
