Dr. Ashit is board certified aesthetic plastic surgeon. After attaining the highest degree in plastic surgery (MBBS, MS, MCh), he is into private practice since 1992. He established the exclusive department of Aesthetic surgery and med spa at Shalby hospitals in 2008, which is an exclusive and unique clinic in India.

His main areas of interests are body shaping surgeries (like Liposuction, tummy tuck, arm lift and reduction, total body lift after post bariatric surgery), aesthetic breast surgeries (like breast enlargement by implants, short scar breast lift, scar less and short scar breast reduction), anti ageing surgery, facial rejuvenation by autologus fat injection. He popularised the concept of “Total body make over” in India. He refined the procedure of autologus fat injection. He has performed surgery on many well-known celebrities, models and film stars.
