Dr.Yunus DoĞanN Turkey
Dr. Yunus Dogan is a professor in Ecology in Izmir, Turkey. His major research areas are based on Plant Ecology and Ethnobotany, acting on the following subjects: ethnobiology, medicinal plants, wild edible plants, ethnology of Balkan minorities, edaphic factors, soil-plant relations, trace elements, biomonitoring, as well as environmental education etc. He has participated in over than fifty international conferences, seminars, congresses, symposia and international forums around the world. In these activities, he has delivered the invited speeches, oral and poster presentations. He is a member of the editor/editorial board more than ten international journals and reviewer of more than forty distinguished international journals and external thesis reviewer of some Pakistan universities.
I was born in Malatya in 1984. I have completed primary and secondary education in Malatya. I have moved on my education at Sivas Science High School and Malatya High School. Afterwards, I have graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty. Upon graduation, I have served at Malatya Akçadağ 75th Year Public Hospital for one year and I have prepared for examination for specialty in medicine. Scoring a very high result, I have had the honor to study at Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Clinic in Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, which is listed as one of the most competitive plastics clinics in Turkey. During my studies here, I have mainly worked on reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, congenital anomalies, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial traumas, hand injuries and esthetic surgeries.
In 2012, I attended a microsurgery course by Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. During my studies, I have conducted research for my dissertation on breast reconstruction after breast cancer. Also, I have both assisted well-known doctors and performed surgeries together. In addition to that, I have made professional training for my colleagues preparing for specialty in medicine examinations. Completing residency in 2015, I have fulfilled my public service obligation at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic.
In 2017, I was inducted as an assistant professor at Aydin University Faculty of Medicine, Park Florya Hospital. In the meantime, we have founded Clinicplast with my colleagues. Since 2016, I have performed successful surgeries for more than 500 patients. I have conducted scientific research that have been published in international journals, made presentations in national congresses as well. After passing an oral exam by European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) in 2019, I have obtained European Certificate of Suitability.
Currently, focused primarily on post-bariatric surgeries, I perform body shaping, reconstructive breast aesthetics, nose and facial aesthetics, liposuction, maxillofacial and orthognathic surgeries as well as hand operations.
