Dr. Telang was the overall winner of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences’ M.Ch Exams in June 2009. In August 2009, he started as an Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at LTMG Hospital in Mumbai. In May 2010, he moved to Gent, Belgium, to complete a Fellowship in Advanced Facial Aesthetic Surgery and MACS-Lift with Drs. Patrick Tonnard and Alexis Verpaele. Dr. Koen Van Landyut and Dr. Moustapha Hamdi, both experts in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, worked with him here.
Dr. Telang returned to work in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at LTMG Hospital in Mumbai after completing this comprehensive and demanding training. He is presently the Director of Designer Bodyz, an advanced cosmetic surgery centre in Mumbai, India, where he specialises in facial aesthetic surgery and ear reconstruction surgery.
