During his undergraduate medical training, Dr. Marc Pacifico spent an additional year studying for a science degree (a Bachelor in Science (BSc)) in physiology. This year, his research focused on the reactions of blood vessels to temperature changes, particularly the cold. Blood vessel behavior and response are critical in all aspects of plastic surgery.
