Dr. Kenneth Schimensky, a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, received his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in 1986. In 1989, he completed his General Surgery residency at Dr. Luis Eduardo Aybar Hospital. Dr. Kenneth moved to Venezuela in 1990 to pursue his specialty in Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, and Burns at the University of Zulia, Maracaibo University Hospital.

In February 2013, Dr. Kenneth Schimensky was qualified as a Specialist in AdiStem (Technology in Derived from Adipose Tissue) by 3MED (Health Age Management Institute and Cosmetic Medicine). Since May of 1986, he has been a member of the Dominican Medical College. Since January 1993, He is a member of the Scientific Society of Dr. Rafael Soto Matos in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Since September 1995, He is a member of the Dominican Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Inc. Since September 1996, he has been a member of the Ibero-Latin American Society of Plastic Surgery and the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.

Since 1994, he has continued to gain experience, as evidenced by the XIII Venezuelan Congress of Plastic Surgery, held in Merida, Venezuela in 1994. The Dominican Republic hosted the first international symposium on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in 1996.
