DR KAMRAN EFENDIOGLU

Born in 1981 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He completed his primary and secondary education with a scholarship in Istanbul. In 1998, he joined Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of English Medicine and graduated in 2004. In the same year, he started his specialization in Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. He completed his compulsory service in Kars between 2011-2013. Since his university years, he has always adopted the principle of continuously improving himself in his profession and for this purpose he has been educated in different domestic and international centers. In 2003, he did his internship at Md Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA. He studied at Showa University Plastic Surgery Clinic, which is one of the world’s leading centers of cleft lip and palate in Tokyo, Japan. During his specialization years, he completed observership at Baylor School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery in Houston, TX USA. During the compulsory service period, he passed the European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) examinations and was awarded with the European Union Competency Certificate. He received a microsurgery certificate with a course he took in University of Zurich, Department of Plastic Surgery, Switzerland. Basic maxillofacial surgery and FUE Hair Transplantation are the other certificates he earned during his specialty. He has contributed to national and international medical literature with numerous medical articles. Dr. Kamran Efendioğlu closely follows and contributes with presentations in the national and international meetings held in the field of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has been an amateur photographer and scuba diver for many years. He is passionate about motorcycle, bicycle and snowboard and he is interested in domestic travel and gastronomy.

Currently he co-owns a Plastic Surgery Clinic with Op Dr Hakan Gence since 2018.
