Acibadem International Hospital
Acbadem began its journey into healthcare as a modest neighbourhood hospital in an Istanbul neighbourhood. With its 21 hospitals, 13 outpatient clinics, and supporting service firms, Acbadem is now a mega brand that has earned its proper position among the global healthcare giants. Due to Acbadem’s fast expansion, we signed a cooperative agreement with IHH Healthcare in 2012, allowing us to become a member of the world’s second biggest healthcare network.
Our plan to expand our international footprint began in 2011 with Acbadem Sistina Hospital in Skopje, Macedonia. In 2016, it was followed by the acquisition of the Tokuda Group and the City Clinic Group in Bulgaria. Acbadem Healthcare Group became Bulgaria’s largest healthcare provider as a result of this purchase. In 2017, we expanded our footprint with the opening of Acbadem International Medical Center in Amsterdam, which has a total interior space of 5.000 square metres. Four hospitals and five outpatient clinics have been added as a consequence of our foreign investments.

Acbadem has opened 35 information offices in 22 countries and 35 locations outside of Turkey to now. When international patients arrive at Istanbul’s airport, they will be greeted cordially at our Health Point counter. Patients can utilise wifi while they wait for their transfer. By private transportation, our patients will be transported straight to their hotel or hospital. Our interpreters will greet our patients at our Health Point desks in hospitals and help them throughout their treatment in 20 different languages.
