Dr. Jean Paul Giudicelli Saba
Dr. Jean Paul Giudicelli Saba graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He finished two years of General Surgery training at the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces (HCFFAA), and then went on to the Salvador B. Gautier Hospital to pursue his specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.
He completed foreign rotations at the Morelia Children’s Hospital’s Lip and Palate Clinic in Michoacán, Mexico, and the renowned Peck Center in New Jersey City, which specializes in nasal and facial cosmetic surgery procedures.
In the city of Tlaxcala, Mexico, he also participated in the Smile Train operation, a children’s programme that treats children with cleft lip and palate. On a local level, he volunteered for several years in the Operation Walk free hip and knee joint replacement surgeries at the Plaza de la Salud General Hospital, as well as in days of cleft lip and palate and facial skull malformations reconstruction at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center at the Armed Forces Central Hospital (HCFFAA). In the same hospital, he also worked with the Operación Sonrisa charity.
He is a member of the Dominican Medical College (CMD), the Dominican Society of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery (SODOCIPRE), and the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP).
